I personally would be a blue Zr1. As a patriotic American I can think of nothing better or more prestigious. I would be fast, sexy, blue, and most importantly I would bleed stars and stripes. I would overtake the fascist German hierarchy and destroy the pompous British hegemonic empire all with my 638hp small block V8.

Eh, probably a G63.

Bro, I think I might be more American..

We talking 6x6 or just a normal pedestrian G63

Mega track because I want to be able to handle anything but also be a badass.

I feel like I'd be a Silverado.

This is a good choice independent of the fact that you like this truck.
I think I'd go something like this too. Reasons:
1. They last a long time, so it means we'd live a long life
2. They're reliable and cheap to maintain. So less doctor visits and less expensive visits.
3. They can survive getting hit better than a small car. So better chance of living if we got in an accident.

Am I the only American who went with a foreign car?

this with a LS3 swap
... big power, lightweight, rear engine, rwd, manual.

You might be. I figured you would go with the most American of cars and be a Duesy
![]() 07/11/2014 at 19:30 |

I would, except I don't think of myself as being that old-fashioned. 40y/o technology in an SUV yes, but not quite a car from the 30's.
If age doesn't matter, then yeah, a Duesenberg SJ.

Volvo P1800. Go millions of miles and look awesome doing it.

I think a Merkur. I'm different than other people, not really attractive, handle stuff well and am downright awesome for no reason :p

A seven litre Iso Grifo. I'm Italian-American so if I had to pick an Italian-American car it would be this or some kind of a DeTomaso.

This is the better choice

Provided I didn't get bro'd out, one of these with a Cummins and NV5600:
Few doctors visits, and it doesn't take much effort to get shit done. Basically, no matter what is thrown at me, I can still be lazy.

I wear an oversized flannel shirt on a regular basis. Every morning I grind some medium-roast fair trade beans in a burr grinder and brew up a cup with an AeroPress. I also ironically love the '90s and indie music.
Yeah, I'm a fucking hipster.

Volvo V60.
Cuz then I can go pretty fast, look good while doing it, and yet still be practical and safe at the same time. Of course I don't handle so well according to some (ahem, Car and Driver ) but then again nobody's perfect...besides, I'm a Volvo loyalist and being half Caucasian and half Asian, it also represents the V60's lineage :D (half Swedish, kinda Chinese...)
On a related note, does anyone go around comparing their friends and family to cars in their head like I do? Like their parents? I figured my dad is a Volvo 960 and my mom is a Mazda Millenia. And my younger brother is a Civic Si because of course he is.

An Opala SS. It's brazilian, of german descent, but heavily inspired by the USA. It's impractical, unstable, drinks a lot, and looks mildly though (if you squint), despite not living up to it at all. It's also outdated, a bit of a fatty and looks like it has a unibrow.

Never heard of it. Although it looks kinda like a Nova. When did they make them?
![]() 07/12/2014 at 18:29 |

If I had to be, Audi R8 < awd, reliable (yeah, Italian engine, blahblahblah, they can do at least 200 k fine if you leave them stock and give them decent maintenance) fun...also, I want one :P

The Opala was the first passenger car sold by GM in Brazil, they were torn between importing the Nova as TKO or making the Opel Rekord here. In the end, they went with the Opel and gave it Chevrolet looks and badges. The one pictured is probably a 1974, but the Opala was GM's flagship between 1969 and (I'm not kidding) 1991.

Wow that car has been a flagship longer than I have been alive. Quite amazing I like it

I'd be a black 2001 Seat Ibiza Cupra R. Very few have an idea of the power it has, which is not even that much, but only 200 were made with the 180hp 1.8T. Developed by a rally team and one of the best looks of any Ibiza.
